Christmas Dinner

Phil
Greasley and Jerry Winkler did a fantastic job setting up the 2004
Christmas party. This year's gala event was held at Steve
and John's Steakhouse. It was a great way to end the year with over
40 folks in attendance. In addition to the traditional gift exchange,
numerous awards were handed out. All Season Flyer awards went to Jerry
Winkler, Joe Mitchell, Dave Fisk and Owen Dwire. Jerry also received the
R/C Nut Award having logged 82 flying visits and 306 sorties for the
year! ARF Model of the Year honors went to Pete Dixon and
his Tiger Moth. In the Build it Yourself (BIY) category, Owen
Dwire took the honors with his Cessna Skylane. The coveted 'Dirt
Napper' award went to Jay Taylor.
I
encourage you to try to make time for this event next year. It is a
great way to meet and chat with friends we only see at the flying field.

This years quest for the coveted Dirt Napper was hotly contested with no
less than six club members vying for the honor.
