This is a picture of Brian Madden's own design twin trainer.  Brian recently purchased
a KMP P-38 ARF. Not having any model airplane twin time, he decided to produce
his own twin trainer to practice twin engine techniques on while he worked on putting
the P-38 together.  Thus a trip to Home Depot to buy $20 worth of down spout, cloro-plast,
some aluminum strips, and assorted hardware combined with a few hours of construction
provided him with a twin trainer.

Brian designed the model using the proportions of the P-38 (reduced by15%).  The model has
a 6 foot wingspan, weighs approximately 10lbs and is powered by two OS .46LA engines.  The
model does fly quite well. The airfoil of the wing is a constant chord flat bottomed airfoil so it
flies more like a trainer than high wing loaded fighter.

Thanks, Jeff!

It looks like Carl Nettles was putting some time in cutting the grass and things got out of hand. Whoa Nellie!
