NNPRCC
SWAP MEET
2005
The Newport News Park R/C Club's first
swap meet was a success by almost any
standard! We had a sell-out crowd on table rentals, we received no complaints,
although
there was room for a few, and we all had a good time. And yes, we did
make a little money
for the club.
The photos below were taken during the
morning and include the
Static Show photos.

This photo was taken at 0830. Already filling up!

We even had a blimp! The banner says "Thomas Nelson Community College
welcomes
Newport News Park Radio Control Club. This was being flown by one of the TNCC
Staff.

Phil Greasley did an outstanding job at the mike on the door prizes and kit raffles.

Vince Tobacco came from Warrenton, VA . Here he talks about one the the items he
is selling.

Wade Saltsgiver took advantage of the courtyard outside to demonstrate his
electric
powered 3-D model.

Mrs. Dixon kept everyone supplied with coffee and donuts. We
went through
two pots of coffee and six dozen donuts!

Joe and Pete caught at a light moment behind the table. The
static
awards were donated by York Awards! Thanks, gals!
